BioI'm a registered nurse and live in Northern Virginia with my husband (Dave) and our four dogs (Sam, Bonnie, Lucy, and Punky). Dave and I are active volunteers with Lab Rescue, a nonprofit organization that rescues and finds new homes for Labrador retrievers. I work part-time as a neonatal ICU nurse and part-time as an adult educator in the health care field. I'm working on my master's in nursing and will finish in May of 2008. When not busy with these puruits, I enjoy reading, TV (especially the works of Joss Whedon), and vegetarian cooking.
